
My favorite. I grew up in a house like this but of hardwood panels, tipay windows and bigger. The nipa roof, as opposed to G.I. sheets, makes for a cooler interior, especially with the cool polished wooden flooring.

Oh yes! Architecture better suited to warm climates. But can be tough to maintain because of the rains.

Not at all Hilda. Ours lasted years of typhoons. We gave that house to one of our farm tennats, I know that it still exists up to now, in good condition. I think it depends on the materials used and the way it was built.
I do like that roof!
